My Story:
Why I Do What I Do
🌿 A Warm Welcome
Namaste and hello, dear friend. I am so grateful you are here. Your time and presence mean a lot to me, and I hope this is the beginning of a lasting connection.

I believe I've been blessed with a purpose: to empower one hundred thousand people to elevate their karma and impact through holistic toolkits. My journey has taken me through the worlds of art, education, healing, and service — all of which have shaped The Holistic Shala and Sarvam Shakti.
The Spark of Empowerment
1992. My first time on stage.
That day, I discovered the power of feeling strong, flexible, confident — and uniquely myself. School gave me academics, but dance gave me health, happiness, and identity.

From an early age, I saw that true education is holistic — body, mind, spirit, relationships — not just marks on paper. And I also learnt what all Indian knowledge systems teach us: real joy comes from seva, from sharing what you love.
Dance, Service & Sarvam Shakti
My dance career took me across 15 countries and 19 Indian states, performing for presidents, prime ministers, and global audiences. But my heart lit up most when I taught children from underserved communities.

In 2012, this seed grew into Sarvam Shakti — our NGO that empowers marginalized girls through holistic education and classical arts. Today, Sarvam Shakti has touched 400+ girls, with 100% placements, international tours, and unshakable confidence. It is living proof that holistic tools transform lives.

Building Platforms for Change
I also founded Sarvam Foundation to give classical arts their rightful place in society, curating festivals and residencies that broke new ground. Later, I launched TEDxTughlaqRd, providing a stage for 100+ changemakers whose ideas are shaping India today.

Recognition followed — features in leading media, being named one of "100 Emerging Women Leaders" (YourStory), and a nomination as one of the Top 100 people to meet at TEDActive, USA. But beyond the accolades, what moved me was helping others find their voice and vision.

The Turning Point
Despite success, I also faced professional politics, loneliness at the top, and emotional blows. Sensitive by nature, these experiences left scars. But they also guided me to my next calling: holistic healing and empowerment.

Marriage and relocation to Australia in 2017 gave me space to pause and reflect. A personal health scare led me to ancient breath practices, yoga, neuroscience, and energy-based therapies.
In just 10 days, my symptoms cleared — and my life's new direction became clear. Australia gave me my Yoga Guru and also the educational opportunities and mindset for a renewed thinking of the role of Nature and holistic approaches.

The Quest for Holistic Knowledge
Over the next 7+ years, I immersed myself in deep study and practice

2 Master's Degrees (Meditation Therapies & Counselling)
Energy Leadership™ Coaching & Nutrition Diplomas
Trauma Therapies & Positive Psychology
EMDR & Laughter Yoga Certifications
Ashtanga Yoga & Indic Knowledge Systems
Homa Therapy Training
Alongside, I worked clinically with clients in Australia and globally, and expanded Sarvam Shakti with my mother (now its CEO). These experiences convinced me beyond doubt: holistic wellbeing is the future of health, education, and human growth.
Why The Holistic Shala
After 13+ years, 1000+ lives transformed, and countless lessons learnt
I founded The Holistic Shala — a one-stop hub for training professionals in holistic tools that blend Eastern wisdom with modern science.
Because:
Therapists are not taught nutrition
Coaches don't learn trauma or energy work
Yoga teachers & allied therapists are not taught Western frameworks
of coaching or Eastern & Western psychology

The Shala bridges these gaps — empowering health, coaching, and allied professionals to stand out, avoid burnout, and create sustainable impact.

Coming Full Circle
Instead of chasing a life of luxury, my husband and I have been guided to choose a simpler path. We are relocating back to India, to live on our rural land near Bangalore where we're building a sustainable wellness space- Shala
Space.
-
With Sarvam Shakti, we continue empowering marginalized girls.
-
With The Holistic Shala, we empower professionals to elevate their impact and karma.
Both arise from the same intention: to serve, to heal, to share.

Closing From the Heart
I am here because I believe you, too, are meant to live and serve from a place of alignment, vitality, and dharma. This is not just my story — it is the seed of a movement I invite you to be part of.
