You are driven by the need for ‘achievement’- you are  motivated by the prospect of accomplishing something important, and making a difference, in your own, but also other people’s lives.

Your main desire is to feel valuable and worthwhile

You strive for excellence and take calculated risks to accomplish goals

You transform ideas into tangible realities

You prefer working alone, and are skilled at creating your opportunities

You display a high level of skill in your area of expertise and have a natural passion for your work

You are a DOER, not only a talker

You have this intrinsic motivation to do big

You have discipline, optimism, persistence, creativity and a drive

You have a love of learning and don’t like mistakes

You go the extra mile to make things happen

You strive for the next big thing for finding meaning in life

You have an internal locus of control and are an active agent in your life

Well, hello High Achiever!

Does this also sound like you?

High achievers often burnout and wear out, if not holistic
High achievers often burnout and wear out, if not holistic

You have a tendency to feel a lack of self-worth often

You experience traumas, burnout, emotional mental breakdowns, due to poor boundaries, lack of self-care, incapacity to address or heal trauma

Simply being is not enough, you need to keep doing

You are slow to detect the wounds that power you along

You micromanage and don’t delegate tasks

You are a perfectionist, not settling for less

You are aware of people’s jealousy towards you

You fear your own light, for it attracts jealousy

You neglect self-care

You find it hard to say ‘no’ to carry out a task someone has asked you to do

You struggle with a stable sense of your own internal value

You feel worthwhile only based on your accomplishments

You beat yourself up if you don’t achieve as much

You commit or overcommit to bolder and bigger goals, at the expense of what really truly matters

Your self-esteem hinges on what you do next

You can get wracked by anxiety or thought traps that can lead to overwork and addictions

You have a tendency to fawn- desire to please others

Your success can be a cloak to escape humiliation or an internal lack of self-worth

You are not aware that there is a basic adequacy to be loved as you are

You try to overcompensate for parents goals or caregivers failures or societal goals and expectations

Your goals are often misaligned with true inner ambitions

You could feel profoundly unhappy even on important milestones of success

You, as a child, and now an adult, receive accolades or praise as a way to get attention, approval, and positive reinforcement

A warm welcome to you dear High Achiever. Congratulations for being a part of the top 2 or 3% of individuals from any given field of work. It is not an easy mantle to uphold. However, it seems only 0.2 to 0.3 % of you are genuinely happy.

I totally see you, hear you, and feel you.

I have been there. Here is what I realised:

WE NEED:

💔 To address our psychological wounds — and gently confront the moments of loss that shaped us.

🌬️ To heal our traumas and inner energy blocks that make us feel disconnected or dissociated from our own bodies.

🌼 To re-define ‘achievement’ — aligning it with our present values, not outdated expectations.

🚫 To move away from energy-sucking relationships — personal or professional — that drain our light.

🌟 To be unafraid of our own brightness — our spark, our radiance, our divine expression.

💖 To hold compassion for our earliest self, the one who did their best with what they knew.

🌍 To know we deserve a place on this earth, whether or not we are “performing” or achieving.

🌱 To recognize that even modest achievements can reflect profound emotional healing and inner growth.

🪞 To connect more deeply with ourselves — our real ambitions, authentic desires, and true goals.

🧭 To revisit our values — discerning if our goals are truly ours, or borrowed from societal or familial conditioning.

🌿 To remember that we do not work in silos — a holistic approach to life is the only sustainable one.

💆‍♀️ To create a self-care rhythm that nourishes physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

🔥 To channel our high-achievement drive toward goals of our own choosing — those that bring meaning, freedom, and joy.
